PRAYER OF HEALING (Darrel)
Lord, we thank you for your many blessings today. For our graduates, for their fathers and mothers and families and friends.
We tend to take these blessings for granted. Continue to speak with us and enlighten our journey.
Stay with us, Lord.
Reach out and invite us to pause and meet with you, we pray.
Thank you Lord from all of us who are fathers.
You have blessed us as you blessed Abraham and Sara.
We call your name, Lord,
wanting to sense your presence as we reveal our hurting hearts to you in prayer.
(Silent reflective prayer time offered)
WORDS OF GRACE AND COMFORT (Darrel)
Whether we believe it, or not,
Jesus Christ never leaves us nor forsakes us.
Let us open our hearts to receive the grace which Christ brings to us in faithfulness.
We are comforted and renewed in God’s grace offered! Thanks be to God. Amen.

2ND FILIPINO FESTIVAL (PINOY FIESTA)|JUNE 24|7:00 AM – 10:00 PM |BUDMILLER PARK PICNIC AREA
The United Filipino Canadians in Lloydminster and surrounding areas, will be spearheading and organizing the, a Filipino-Canadian Festival with the theme ‘FILIPINO AKO, SAAN MANG BAHAGI NG MUNDO” and with the main goal of promoting unity, friendship, and camaraderie among Filipino-Canadian community by knowing by heart, our Philippine Custom, Tradition and Culture “The Pinoy Fiesta will showcase the different customs, traditions and culture of the Philippines through dances, songs, games and food as the fiesta is part and parcel of Filipino culture. This celebration is the tie that binds Filipinos from a region or an area together, a time to reunite with our extended family and our kababayans (countrymen/women). It is a time to rejoice in friendship, share our blessing and showcase the Filipino talent. We will have live band(s), talent presentation, food fest, parlor games, and many more surprise activities. In this regard, we are reaching out to the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and Community Organizations to join the community information fair as one of our added events for the said activity. The Filipino Festival (Pinoy Fiesta) will be a good avenue for all the available agencies to create wide awareness about the available social and health services and programs, as we are expecting at least over 1500 attendees on that day. Everyone is welcome to set-up their information booth/table as one way of reaching out to the community with regards to the available services and programs here in Lloydminster and surrounding areas as we have identified that there is still a gap on the communication or knowledge among the community members of these available services and programs. Registration is free. The organizers had prepared two tents (10 x10) for your tables/booth and set one area at the venue for our community information fair.

the Grace Family where diversity is celebrated.
Grace remembers, as we celebrate God’s presence in worship,
that Grace United Church gathers on Treaty 6 land,
the traditional territory of the Plains, Wood Cree, Assiniboine and Métis peoples.
As Treaty people,
we seek to live with respect on this land and live in peace and friendship with all our relations.
