WE OFFER OURSELVES TO GOD
PRAYER OF HEALING
O Holy God,
we come to offer you the moments we have lacked love in our hearts.
We have neither loved ourselves nor our neighbours.
We have passed by suffering and misfortune
because of fear, busyness or preoccupation.
We have held prejudices against people as deep as those against the Samaritans.
Heal our pains, amend our faults,
and guide us in ways of compassion.
We pray now, in the name of Jesus, your son,
our most beloved neighbour, who refreshes all through prayer and peace.
(silent prayers, meditation)
WORDS OF GRACE AND COMFORT
While we faulter and fail to recognize a need when it crosses our path,
You offer the gift of grace freely, so we might be refreshed to bravely try again.
You are made new and promised eternal life.
We believe! We receive! We rejoice.
Thanks be to God. Amen.

6th Sunday after Pentecost
In a story of two sisters, we are encouraged to listen to God’s word of grace and let it shape our everyday lives.
STEWARDSHIP SECONDS
Stewardship is as much about nourishing communities and nourishing spiritual health as it is about money.
As beloved children of God, all are included in the life and ministry of the Grace Family where diversity is celebrated. We remember, as we celebrate God’s presence in Worship, that Grace United Church gathers on Treaty 6 land, the traditional territory of the Plains, Wood Cree, and Assiniboine peoples. As Treaty people, we seek to live with respect on this land and live in peace and friendship with all our relations.

Activity Mornings
G.R.A.C.E. Activity Mornings kick off on Monday, July 11th. Based on the book, BE KIND by Pat Zietlow Miller, participants will be involved in story, craft, snack and outdoor fun with the idea of teaching young people how important it is to act with thoughtfulness, civility, and kindness! What a great way to start 5 weeks of activity mornings at Grace United. Activity mornings are for children grades 1-6.
Every day is a new book with the following setup:
8:45 Drop off
9:00 Manipulative Tubs (playdoh, lego, blocks, puzzles, etc. )
9:15 Icebreaker Activity
9:30 Opening Prayer
9:40 Story of the Day
10:00 Craft based on the story
10:45 Snack
11:00 Outdoor Play
12:00 Dismissal
If you know a family with young children, they will not want to miss out on this fun! Here's the link to register!
