CENTERING PRAYER
CALL TO WORSHIP
ONE: God welcomes all, strangers and friends. God’s love is strong and it never ends.
ALL: “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests; but the son of humanity has nowhere to lay his head.”
ONE: Our neighbors are hungry and poor; yet our neighborhood is the richest in the community.
ALL: “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests; but the son of humanity has nowhere to lay his head.”
ONE: Many of our neighbours have been homeless for decades; yet our society sees them as riff-raff and human detritus.
ALL: “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests; but the son of humanity has nowhere to lay his head.”
ONE: God loves us so much that God became our neighbor – a refuge, a homeless vagabond and a friend to the odd and undesirable.
ALL: Glory to God in Christ whose homeless body bore our hatred as an act of love for us all. Amen.
HYMN “We are Pilgrims” VU #595 Words & Music: Richard Gillard

We need your healing love today, oh Lord,

In your name we pray
Amen

SPECIAL SHOUT OUTGUC PLANNING DAYJUNE 17TH
On Friday, congregational members joined in a day of awesome planning looking ahead to a year's glance at Grace. What an amazing gathering of wonderful sharing and great ideas. Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting and special thanks to all who provided the nourishment so brains could work! YAY GOD! Shelley Ann Wieringa leading Michelle Lake in a smudge.
As beloved children of God, all are included in the life and ministry of the Grace Family where diversity is celebrated. We remember, as we celebrate God’s presence in Worship, that Grace United Church gathers on Treaty 6 land, the traditional territory of the Plains, Wood Cree, and Assiniboine peoples. As Treaty people, we seek to live with respect on this land and live in peace and friendship with all our relations.
