FREE for all 2 & 3 year olds and their families in Lloydminster and area. 

Put on by Grace United Church and Community Partners : Midwest Family Connections and Parent Link. It is an unplugged event.  We will run from 9:30 - 1:30 p.m. at the Grace United Church on Saturday, October 19th.  

9:30 Registration, Welcome and Family Gathering Activity

10:00 - 10:15 Station 1

10:15 - 10:30 Station 2

10:30 - 10:45 Station 3

10:45 - 11:00 Station 4

11:00 - 11:15 Station 5

11:30 - 12:00 - Lunch

12:00 - 1:30 Family Free Time (the plan is to have bouncy house and games and activities set out for families to do)

The day will start with Registration and kids playing in centre of hall as parents view Professional Resource tables around the hall

10:00 parents and children revolving around Five - stations in the morning.

Social Emotional- Cooperative Games 

Music- Songs and Instruments

Speech and Language Station- Storytime and Acting out the story

Fine Motor- Cutting and Playdough

Gross Motor - Parachute Games

Grace United Church will host it’s first every 2/3 year old Childhood Fair in partnership with Community Agencies.  This event will focus on the Spiritual, Social/Emotional, Cognitive, Fine/ Gross Motor, and Speech/Language skills of young children.  The format of the day is station work with parents and children involved in activities supporting the development of children in all of the above listed domains of development.  Stay tuned for more details of this amazing event.  As always, we will be looking for volunteers and sponsors to support the work required.  Time frame for the event is 9:30 – 1:00 p.m.  Contact Lana for more details.
