PRAYER OF HEALING
God of Sarah and Abraham, in this holy place, we know our discipleship is weak.
We can spend hours at the computer, but only give You fleeting moments of our time.
We can talk endlessly on our cell phones,
but fall silent when it comes to sharing our fears, our worries, our hopes with You.
Rather than doing the work to understand Your vision and future for our lives,
we seek our own quick fixes for troubles we face.
Help us to seek out Your faith-filled living;
opening our ears to Your beloved call.
Forgive us, so we may lay aside all that keeps us from being who You want us to be.
(Silent prayer/reflection)
WORDS OF GRACE AND COMFORT
This is the good news: through God’s promises we are forgiven, refreshed and renewed.
God loves us. God heals us.
Forgiven and filled with hope, we are made new,
to live in right relationship with God and one another.
Thanks be to God. Amen.

STEWARDSHIP SECONDS
Too often we get stuck in the muck of human things – doom scrolling, worrying about possessions, fretting over appearances. Jesus tells Peter, and us, to set our mind to the divine: generosity and prayer, Bible study and sharing faith, loving service and worship. We can act as servants and spend our time and resources making the world better for all.
LEGACY GIFT FUND APPLICATION | DEADLINE: MARCH 1
Just a reminder to everyone that the next deadline for applying for a grant is March 1, 2024.

PEACE IN AND FOR UKRAINE: AN ECUMENICAL LETTER
February 24th marks two years since Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Nearly 30,000 lives have been lost and millions displaced. As this sombre anniversary approaches, Canadian Christian leaders have joined voices, urging support for refugees and for peace. Their message? Pray, advocate for diplomacy, aid refugees, remember the invasion's impact, and hope for reconciliation.
Donate to Mission and Service and stand with Ukraine and those suffering through this ongoing crisis. Read the full news story and ecumenical letter.
ATTENTION CONGREGATION
Darby UCW would like everyone to know they are still collecting used postage stamps. We collect them and forward them to the Leprosy Mission. Please keep collecting can tabs as the Shriners sell them to raise funds to aid their cause – help with crippled and sick children. There are collection bins located in the kitchen – please put these items in the bins. Thank you, Lloydminster Al-Wal Shrine Club (Howard & Wallie Barnsley),

that Grace United Church gathers on Treaty 6 land,
the traditional territory of the Plains, Wood Cree, Assiniboine and Métis peoples.
As Treaty people,
we seek to live with respect on this land and live in peace and friendship with all our relations.
