Great Restorer of Life,
we are disappointed when we try to understand who we are by the things we accomplish,
the things we own, or the labels others give us.
So, we return to you and ask you to give us a sense of what you have created us to be.
Help us find a common identity in the stories of your mighty works.
Remind us as we pray to you, so we can remind one another of who we are in your name.

The Dedication will take place during the church service. Mortgage burning will take place following the service with an introduction of guests. Beef on a bun lunch will be served after the burning of the mortgage. Tickets are available at the office or Sundays in September before and after church. All proceeds going towards Debentures.

DARBY UCW MEETING RESCHEDULED
The Darby UCW Meeting has been rescheduled from Wednesday, September 13 to Tuesday, September 12.
GROOVIN WITH GRACE
“Groovin’ with Grace” is our new Junior Kids Choir for ages 12 – 18. Music for this group will include fun and exciting music for Worship Services, Christmas, Gospel Night and groovy stuff for the in between times!! All that is needed is a smile, a voice to sing with, a joyful heart and a willingness to share our gift of music with all those around us. Come join “Groovin’ With Grace” in the Grace United Church Choir Room on Wednesdays from 5 – 6 pm! It will truly be the place to be!! And…did we mention…there’s snacks!!!! See you there!!
GRACE CHOIR
The Grace Choir is open to any adult that would like to raise their voice in song and have fun doing just that!! We will be broadening our horizons as a group this year, and singing both contemporary and sacred music, as well as performing a "Christmas Cantata" to be presented in December at Grace United Church. We will also be performing special music for the Grace United Church's worship services. As a group, we take part in workshops, choral parties and performing with other musicians and groups in Lloydminster. If you would like to be part of this group, come on out Thursday nights and join us! The excitement is waiting for you!!
